Ella + Mila Soy Polish Removers
We took a good look at the Ella + Mila Soy Polish Remover this past week.
The Skinny from Jonquil Beauty:
At first, when we opened the bottle I immediately noticed the foil seal. After popping that off with a manicure tool, I was then able to enjoy the beautiful non-chemical aroma of Lavender! Lavender is one of my favorite scents so if you don't like that scent this particular version of the Ella + Mila Soy Polish Remover is not for you but there are other scents available and I'll post Jonquil Beauty's Amazon Associate links to those below. Amazon Associate links for the Lavender version are above :)
I was skeptical after I applied the nail polish remover to my thumb since it seemed like it wasn't working -- at first. My true first thought that ran through my mind was, "oh no! I just paid $11 for something my readers are not going to like at all!"
However, I forged on and wiped the polish remover across my lacquer (and primer and top coat) painted nail a second time and it basically melted off to a nice clean finish. I thought that I would need a lot more remover than I initially used but as I went over the next few nails, I realized, the product just takes a few seconds to penetrate and then everything polishes off very nicely.
Note: I often times use a microfiber towel like this one dipped in remover to remove my polishes.
I'm not sure how this would work with a cotton pad or a cotton ball but I'm sure it would give you a similar result, if not just the same.
There was a slight oily feeling after the polish came off but I kept going with the removal process and realized that the very substance that felt oily was actually shining my natural nail and nourishing and softening my cuticles! I learned during the polish removal process that a little bit of product actually goes a long way!
And, since it doesn't dry quickly on my microfiber towel, when I went to sample a few nail polishes that (spoiler alert!) we're working on for an upcoming Jonquil Beauty nail polish line I was able to use much of the same remover during the sampling process. I was really happy to see that so much of what I had applied to the towel was still usable and I didn't have to pour anymore out of the bottle ♡

We also learned that you can purchase a soy free, Jojoba based version of this remover by Ella + Mila here.
However, we haven't tested and reviewed the Jojoba version of the nail polish remover so I'm not sure how different it truly is in effectiveness, etc.
Don't forget you can get both the soy version and of course Mineral Fusion's nail polish removers from these Amazon Associate links:
