Olive & June Polish Set

The Skinny From Jonquil Beauty: Firstly, I have a confession, I've never been the best at painting my nails. Oftentimes, I find myself starting over on a finger or two during the process because I tend to flood the paint into my cuticles so easily! So, when we decided to give Olive & June a try, I had low expectations from a pre-made manicure kit made specifically for salon quality manicures at home.

However, I have found myself truly falling in love with this manicure kit! The pigmentation of the colors is so rich and deep, not to mention high-quality glossy, which I wasn't expecting at all. I'm not the biggest fan of glossy on myself but after using the clear polish that came in this kit, it's really growing on me.

Another surprise for me was how the nail polish bottle brush really is easy to use. The brushes are high quality! I found them to be the softest and fullest I've ever used which means you only need a couple of swipes for full coverage during each coat. Two fairly thin coats of color polish and you are well on your way to stunning looking nails!

Also, the drying time is super quick thanks to the high amount of enamel in the formula Olive & June has created!

The directions are also simple to follow and are printed on the inside of the front flap of the box that the manicure kit comes in.

Now, let's talk about the kit itself. It comes with everything, I mean EVERYTHING you need. No reason to purchase another product to assist you with finishing your look. And the products inside were advertised as, and indeed, felt and screamed salon quality!

I really loved that there were so many nail colors to choose from in the kit and the little extras like the poppy to help you paint your non-dominant hand was so helpful! Also, the nail clippers, although a little small for my fingernails, are so darn adorable. There were lots of little bonuses like a clear & gold glitter nail polish, cuticle oil, a nail file, cuticle remover cream and a cuticle pusher. There is even an additional design brush for creating your own designs if you are at that level of creative DIY sophistication =)

My most favorite items in the entire package were surprisingly the nail polish remover pot containing a non-acetone solution and the clear nail polish which was SO DIVINE! You have to try this kit at least once!
