In this week's Jonquil Beauty Skinny we're talking about a very vibrant vegan nail color line that we're certain you'll love dearly! With a focus on health-conscious formulations and vibrant, lasting colors, Liquid Dyet is yet another gorgeous vegan brand changing the way we think about nail care.

In this edition, we'll talk about Liquid Dyet's Lay the Foundation, Hot Pink Toddy, Lavender Lemonade, and Reclaim My Time as well as their Vanilla scented cuticle oil.

Today, we're spotlighting these four standout Liquid Dyet polishes:

💕 Lay the Foundation

To begin with, we started by doing a standard mini-manicure to file and shape nails and added a few nail tips (after application of the Madagascar vanilla scented cuticle oil and pushing back the softened cuticles).

The Liquid Dyet nourishing cuticle oil is truly unique. It has a light warm vanilla scent and it contains Argan Oil for it's anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties as well as a rich dose of vitamin E. It also contains: Apricot Kernal Oil and Grapeseed Oil. Apricot Kernal Oil is rich in vitamins A&E and has anti-aging and healing properties. While Grapeseed Oil is antimicrobial, rich with antioxidants and nourishing to the skin.

Next, we painted on the Lay the Foundation (Priming Base Coat) as pictured above.

💕 Hot Pink Toddy

Following application of the foundation, we added two coats of Hot Pink Toddy nail color to every other nail. Then, we applied two coats of the Lavender Lemonade to complete our springtime/Easter nail color pattern!

Following the application of the two colors, we used the Reclaim My Time zip dry top coat that really dries in a zip!

Initially, there was a moment of skepticism as we eyed the Liquid Dyet polish, suspecting it might be too thin and runny for our glamorous aspirations. However, embracing the journey with open hearts (and nails), we were thrilled to discover the results were nothing short of spectacular!

Included in our package were some tips (see below) that not only elevated our experience with this particular clean beauty brand but would likely enhance any polish application. Following these guidelines, we achieved a finish that was as flawless and sophisticated as we had hoped, proving once again that beauty rituals, when approached with trust and patience, can yield unexpectedly glamorous outcomes.

Overall, venturing into the experience of applying Liquid Dyet's nail polish is surprisingly straightforward and satisfying. The initial observation you'll make is the ease of application; the foundation and colors glide on smoothly and dry remarkably fast.

As you progress, what comes next is the striking vibrancy of the colors. It's as if the brightness has been turned up a notch, offering a level of vividness reminding us of highlighters, though without the glaring neon effect. Despite the light feel of the polish, it surprises with its opaque coverage, delivering an even coat that defies expectations based on its consistency.

And here’s an aspect that’s sure to be appreciated: each layer of polish dries in just about 60 seconds. This rapid drying time is a real game-changer, especially for those with busy schedules.

In practically no time, roughly 10 minutes or so, you can apply Liquid Dyet polish and have it completely dry, ready for you to step out the door confidently and without the worry of smudges.
