OPI xPRESS/ON Nails
The Skinny from Jonquil Beauty: These OPI acrylic nails and OPI nail art press-on nails are simply beautiful and come in several colors all with a gel like pre-applied OPI polish.
The nails are very easy to apply and the nail glue included in the package has a nice strong hold. The nails adhered well to my natural nails and surprisingly lasted for much longer than other press on/glue on nail brands I've tried. It was at least two weeks before I was ready to remove them.
As for the application process, it's quite simple! For a more temporary hold use one drop of OPI glue (included in the kit) on the back of the acrylic and for a longer lasting hold use one drop on the natural nail in addition to one drop on the back of the acrylic. Don't worry, there is plenty of time to adjust the nail before the glue dries in place but not so much time that the nails slide around and come off or move out of place on their own.
If you're not comfortable with using any glue on your natural nails, I also found some highly rated double-sided nail stickers (pictured below) that look promising. Lookout for our review of these stickers later down the line.

These nails are a new product from OPI and are currently only available at Ulta Beauty. OPI offers a vast array of colors, with and without nail art, to choose from – which means your nails can be ready for any occasion at an express rate!
Before application, be sure to give your natural nails a mini-mani (clean your nails well, file, and rub in some OPI cuticle oil before you push the cuticle back). Then wipe the nail bed off with polish remover so that it's nice and clean and you are set to get started with your OPI press on nails application.
I found the removal process to be quite simple as well. There are great directions on the package but basically just soak your fingertips in warm to hot (not scalding) water for about ten minutes and the adhesive will loosen and the nails will flake right off. If, for some reason, they are still stuck on after that process add a little nail polish remover under each nail and soak again. I would use my handy dandy manicure set (pictured below) and pick a tool to use to bring the edge of the nail up slightly and a cotton ball to drip apply the remover underneath the edge of the acrylic nail.
Another alternative is to use the wooden stick included in the package to pull up the edge of the nail and drip some polish remover underneath the edge.
Overall, we love these nails from OPI!! I can't wait to get my hands on more of them.
